Procedures of Disinfection Products NHFPC (MOH) Registration

For New disinfectants:

(Disinfectants produced by the use of new materials, new technologies and new principles of sterilization (referred to as new disinfection products).

Steps

Main contents

Step 1: Determination of registration type and preliminary determination of testing items

1) Relevant materials and information further provided by enterprises

2) Registration type determined

3) Test items determined according to the use and disinfection effect of disinfectants

4) Association with laboratories designated by NHFPC (MOH) to determine the final price and test cycle

Step 2: Laboratory selection and test deployment

1) Laboratory test plan provided

2) Test conducted

3) Progress tracking and report auditing

Step 3: Disinfectants registration documents preparation and submission

Disinfectants registration documents prepared according to the requirements of NHFPC (MOH) (only for new disinfection products)

Step 4: Post-communication with the registration department of NHFPC and data complementation

Communication with registration department after the registration documents have been submitted, data complementation and interaction with experts

Step 5: Hygienic disinfectants registration completion

Hygienic disinfectant registration certificate issued by NHFPC (MOH)

For Existing disinfectants:

1) Relevant materials and information further provided by enterprises

2) Notification type determined

3) Test items determined according to the use and disinfection effect of disinfectants

4) Association with laboratories designated by NHFPC (MOH), and the final price and test cycle determined

Step 2: Laboratory selection and test deployment

1) Laboratory test plan provided

2) Test conducted

3) Progress tracking and report auditing

Step 3: Hygiene and safety assessment report preparation

Hygiene and safety assessment report prepared according to the requirements of NHFPC (MOH) (only for existing disinfectants)
